“Wow! What a year! I began Bikram Yoga one year ago and have enjoyed every minute of it, well maybe not every minute…but my body has become more toned, I’ve lost 13 pounds and I can’t believe how addicted I’ve become! The classes are taught by professional well-trained instructors who work with you on whatever level you are performing. The studio is clean, and the atmosphere is positive and supportive. I have much more energy each day now that I practice regularly and have lost weight. My allergy condition has greatly improved and my skin is much softer from the heat and sweat. “After trying to escape the classroom during my first class, I would never believe that I am about to write how Bikram Yoga changed my life...
I had tried other forms of yoga, however, none of them appealed to me, so I was apprehensive about Bikram. After making it through that first class, I vowed to come back and try it again, knowing there was something there. Being a working mother of two young children, I find that taking a Bikram class is my time. It’s the only time I can devote to myself and really clear my brain. Sometimes it’s hard to let go of thoughts, but then I focus on my body and what it is supposed to be doing. My body has changed…flatter abs and more muscle definition all over. If I don’t go for a week or two, it affects my mood (for the worse). Bikram has become an essential part of my life. It keeps me happy, focused, and in shape. The studio is clean, the instructors are amazing, and the benefits are indescribable. See you soon!

“My body has regained strength and flexibility that I thought I had lost years ago! My balance and my posture have both greatly improved. My husband, who suffers from severe knee and hip problems, takes Bikram Yoga classes as well. He finds that the postures loosen his hamstrings and significantly relieve the pain in his knees. Bikram Yoga gives me a renewed sense of body awareness as I continually improve my practice. In addition to physical changes, I find I feel content when I leave class and not so worried about the “little things.” Following the relaxation at the end of class I am energized for the rest of the day.

“Since starting Bikram Yoga, I have lost three inches off my mid-section and have seen my body has become more toned. I have tendonitis in both knees, which Bikram yoga has helped tremendously! This time last year, it took very little for me to loose my temper and I tended to be moody. Since beginning yoga, my general disposition is so much different. So many people have told me that I have a more positive outlook on life, and that I’m much calmer. I feel calmer, I’m more relaxed, I’m more open-minded, and it’s so much easier for me to accept anything that comes my way. Generally, after class I can feel how hard I have worked my body and I feel wonderful. I encourage anyone no matter what age, size or physical ability to try a class. It will seem tough at first, but the mental, physical, and emotional results are well worth it!

“Bikram Yoga has been a positive factor in my life. I look and feel healthier; I have more energy, better posture and have been able to maintain a healthy weight. I have experienced more restful sleep and remained calmer and more balanced in stressful situations. I feel more energized and revitalized after class. During my research of Bikram Yoga, I looked at a number of studios in New York and New Jersey and I found that Bikram Yoga Westfield is one of the nicest studios. The teaching staff is great!

“First and foremost, I have noticed a tremendous difference in my flexibility, agility and reflexes. My muscles feel supple and lean instead of bulky from when I was running exclusively. I have also noticed that I can run faster and longer since I have been practicing Bikram Yoga. I also have a tendency toward stress and anxiety and Bikram has helped me to manage the pressures of my life. I prefer to come in the morning because I am energized for the rest of the day. But, when I can’t, it’s great to know that evening classes are available. The instructors are really friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They all knew my name within the first week, and my name is no the easiest to learn! The overall environment at Bikram Yoga Westfield is one of respect, consideration for others and most of all for yourself. You really learn to be kind to yourself through Bikram Yoga, and for me that is tremendously therapeutic. I couldn’t imagine Bikram Yoga not playing a significant role in my future.

“I am definitely a Bikram Yoga addict! Bikram has changed my body in many ways. I am definitely more flexible than I have ever been, my stomach looks great, my skin looks awesome from the heat, and I never get sick. Overall I am much more relaxed. I have had anxiety attacks my entire life, and thanks to Bikram Yoga, I rarely ever get them. When I walk out of a class, I feel motivated and excited to face the day.
